About

A plainspoken witness to the moment life changes.

Jake Evans is a country artist and songwriter from Townville, South Carolina. Rooted in Christian faith and rural life, he writes melody-driven songs about love, home, loss, family, conviction, and the things people often know before they are ready to say them.

His sound moves from stripped-down melodic country to modern and traditional country arrangements, Southern-rock edges, and flashes of 1990s rock. The production may change. The center does not: a strong melody, emotional honesty, and a story listeners can enter.

He lives above the restored Hunt's General Store, a Townville building that has stood for more than a century.

The songs are not always about faith. They always come from it.

Christian faith shapes the way Jake writes about truth, commitment, grace, responsibility, loss, and hope — even when a song never says the word.
